The Department of Social Welfare, Govt of Uttar Pradesh has launched a scholarship program named UP Scholarship 2024. Yogi Government aims to increase the literacy rate and generate skilled youth with the help of such kind of scholarship. Steps to Apply for UP Scholarship 2024 Online
Step 1: New student registration;
- Firstly, visit the official website of the UP Scholarship i.e. scholarship.up.gov.in.
- Then click on the “Student” section and select “New Registration”.
- After that select the scholarship for which you want to apply.
- Then, fill in all necessary details.
- Click on “Submit” to register.
Step 2: Student Login;
- Once you are registered, go to the “Student” section and select the “Fresh Login” option for fresh applications and the “Renewal Login” option for renewal applications as per the scholarship you are applying for.
- Then, you should log in using the registration number, date of birth, and password.
- After that, read all instructions carefully and click on “Proceed”.
Step 3: Completing the scholarship application process;
- After clicking on “Proceed” you will be directed to the user dashboard.
- There, choose the “Fill in the application form” option.
- Then, fill out the required details in the scholarship application form.

Step 5: Submission of form at the respective educational institution;

Eligibility Criteria
For applying for the UP Scholarship there are some criteria you must fulfill. Here is the list of all the conditions for you. Go through them:-
- The candidate who is applying should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Candidate should be a legal student of any college, institution/University.
- Students of 9th or 10th can apply for pre-matric scholarships.
- Students of 11th or 12th can apply for post-matric scholarships.
- Students of the above classes can apply for Dashmottar scholarships.
- The annual family income for OBC, Minorities, and Generals must be less than INR 200000. For SC/ST it should be less than INR 250000.
