He recently won the state assembly elections from the Kanakpura constituency. D.K. Shivkumar has been elected eight times as an MLA since 1989. He is a key figure in the Congress Party.

2. KH Puttaswamy Godwa (IND)

The second on our list is KH Puttaswamy Godwa. Mr. Godwa is the public representative of Karnataka’s Gauribidanur constituency. He is also a social activist and an entrepreneur. The ADR report places him second with a net worth of INR 1,267 crore. The notable thing here is that this net worth is only his own, excluding his wife’s and children’s assets. Some reports even suggest that he is the richest MLA in the country. He won the elections as an independent candidate, which is a big achievement.

4. N Chandrababu Naidu (TDP)

The fourth on our list is Nara Chandrababu Naidu, aka CBN. He is the leader of the opposition party (Telugu Desam Party) in United Andhra Pradesh. He served as the Chief Minister of the state from 1995 to 2004 and again from 2014 to 2019. The ADR report designates him with the rank of fourth with an asset of INR 668 crore. Naidu is the longest-serving Chief Minister in the history of Andhra Pradesh.

The fifth on our list is a politician from the most famous party in the nation. Jayantibhai somabhai patel, aka J.S. Patel is the member of Bhartiya Janta Party. He contested from Mansa constituency in the Gujarat Assembly elections. The ADR report states that he has declared his net worth to be INR 661 crore, in the election commission.

Next on our list is no other than the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Yeduguri Sandinti Jagan Mohan Reddy. He is the founder of YSRCP (Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party) which has been the ruling party in Andhra since 2019. In the ADR report his net worth is estimated to be INR 510 crore. In his initial days, he became MP from Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency as an INC member. Later after his father died in 2009, he formed YSRCP.

Next on our list is one more member from Bhartiya Janta Party. He is Parag Kishorechandra Shah. Parag has currently working as an MLA from Ghatkopar East constituency, Maharastra since 2019. As per his declaration in the 2019 elections, his total property is worth INR 500 crore.
