When her family tried to locate her but was unable to do so, they decided to report their discovery to the Nagpur Police Station.
The Jabalpur Police then assisted the Nagpur Police in apprehending Amit Sahu close to Jabalpur. Police learn that Amit and Sana are also business partners when questioning him. He owns a dhaba (roadside eatery) with Sana as a partner, and the two of them had been at odds over the dhaba’s financial transactions. Amit then committed the crime and began abusing her until she passed away.
