To qualify for the Maulana Azad Scholarship candidates must meet some eligibility criteria. The very first, the candidate should belong to a designated minority community which are Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Parsis. The candidate should belong to one of these minority communities.
Secondly, the candidate must possess a result of more than 50% in the previous standard. If the candidate is not meeting these criteria, he/she will not be eligible for the scholarship.
Moreover, the annual income of the candidate’s family should be under 1 lakh per annum for eligibility. As this scholarship is for the poor and weaker sections of the given minority communities. Maulana Azad Scholarship Amount
There are two segments for scholarship amount. The first one is for classes 9th to 10th and the second one is for classes 11th to 12th.
