Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Registration
The Ministry of External Affairs organizes this Kailash Yatra from June to September every year. They held this trip through two different routes- Lipulekh Pass (Uttarakhand), and Nathu La Pass (Sikkim). Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (KMY) is known for its religious value and cultural significance. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2024 Registration Process
The registration to Kailash Mansarovar is online only.
First of all, go to the official website to apply for the Yatra i.e. http://kmy.gov.in/kmy/. Now fill in the details correctly and choose from the two routes given in the portal i.e. Nathula in Sikkim and Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand.
Eligibility for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The age should be between 18 to 70 years.
- Must be physically fit and mentally strong.
- Applicant must have a valid Indian Passport for at least six months.
The Selection Process for KMY
- The applicants are selected based on a fair computer-generated process. There is also an option to travel in a group of two may be given by the Ministry of India in the same batch at the application stage, which should be completed online individually.
- If an applicant wants to confirm his trip then he has to pay nonrefundable confirmation free before the due date. The amount should be paid to the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam or the Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation.
- Selected Applicants must re-assure their participation in the batch before coming to Delhi.
Documents Required
- A scanned passport-size photograph (in jpg. but Format less than 300 kb in size)
- Take a scanned copy of the first and last page of the passport as well as your family details in PDF format.
- Mobile number and email are valid and must be mentioned in the application.
Last date for Booking
Almost all the bookings are done, but bookings for the last two trips of the season are open they are scheduled to depart on 23rd September 2024 via the Kerung border for 14 14-day trip by bus and on 24th September 2024 via the Purang border for 11 days trip by helicopter route. Both these trips are scheduled to reach Lake Mansarovar for a full moon night darshan. Interested candidate can make their booking before 10th August 2024.
